The web server collects basic access information like, for example, time of access, query string and IP for the purpose of detecting malicious intent like attempts to use security holes in the site's software in order to gain unauthorized access to the site's server or data. The logged information is stored for a few days, but in case of a possible attempt to hack the site, this may be exceeded in order to handle the issue (but not longer than necessary).
We do not distribute information about any DokuWiki accounts to the site (http://www.yake.org) or wiki (http://www.yake.org/wiki) or accounts for the forum (http://www.yake.org/forum).
THe RSS feeds for www.yake.org, the Wiki and the Dev Blog are passed through (or “burned by”) Google FeedBurner.
The motivation is to automatically post-process and clean up the RSS feed data provided by this site's software (dokuwiki).
The FeedBurner Analyze service is configured to collect the following information, reduced to a minimum (FeedBurner defaults):
Other options like Item Views, Traffic Tracking etc. ARE NOT ENABLED.
